These are exciting times at Co. Antrim's largest privately run fishery. Our 3 Lakes are cater for a wide variety of anglers:
- Our Main 20 Acre Fly Fishing Lake - with a fleet of 12 boats and 1000m of accessible bank angling our feature lake holds rainbow trout into double figures - season tickets only
- NEW - 2 Acre Discover Lake - where Family Fishing Fun is our aim. Reserved for families only (1 adult per 2 under 12's this ANY METHOD lake is perfect introduction to our sport - day tickets in advance only
- NEW - Horsetail Retreat Carp & Tench Lake- specialist lake is one of a very view which holds double figure carp. It's is a members only facility for bait angling but prebooked fly sessions are available.

Straid Fishery has built a reputation for making superb quality fishing available to the public. Concentrating our efforts on quality stocking, clean and comfortable facilities and competitive prices has seen anglers travel to us from near and far.
Banks and paths have been cleared to allow easy access to the lake's margins. Anglers with restricted mobility can be transported by staff to their choice of fishing stand. Enjoy the comforts of home in our newly modernised tearoom where tea, coffee and snacks are available. You are welcome to come in for a rest and browse our fishing books and magazines. Refurbished Ladies and Gents toilets are available 30 yds from the tearoom.
